I Forgive You Joe Biden...

    First, I want to thank everyone for their patience over the last few months. So much going on personally and politically that it’s difficult to believe that it has been as long as it has for me to provide a commentary on the comedy that was our political system over the last four years. This piece may take on a slightly different tone than what I normally write, and some may read this and think, “wow! Aaron from GA has really matured!” Not so fast! I am already working on something that pushes my sophomoric humor to the brink, but just to get it out of my system, the Democrats aren’t full of hot air...because they fart every three to five minutes (don’t light a match). Ok all better, everyone acquainted, moving on.

    There is a ton of low hanging fruit to pick at, over the last few months most importantly the re-election of Papa Bear DJT! Let’s give it up… you aren’t clapping, Clap! Do you know I’m still walking around clapping because of this monumental victory. You know that there is a Republican in the room when you hear a random, “Wooo!” It’s not the Nature Boy Ric Flair, it’s a Republican still pumped about the election. I know that Biden won fair and square in 2020 with 20 million more votes than the Democrats have ever received! Do you know why the voting numbers stay consistent? Anyone? Anyone? It’s because part of the population dies and some are born, the number of registered voters stays relatively stagnant. You can’t magically introduce 20 million voters to one party without raising some eyebrows. Spectacular feat, one that has never been achieved before or since.

    We aren’t going to go do anything like a 4-year review, I don’t have that much space for the full critique. I still don’t understand how we never found out who’s cocaine was left in the white house. I mean during covid we could track down when an old lady sneezed and didn’t cover her face at the Piggly Wiggly in rural Arkansas, but we have no idea who brought a gram of “booger sugar” into one of the most secure buildings on the planet? Really? No idea? There couldn’t be a close family member, a son perhaps, with a drug habit that wouldn’t gladly trade any one of his illegitimate children for a 40 of O.E. and an 8 ball. No clue? Which brings me to the topic of Secret Service, wah wah waaaaah...

    Holy smokes, (I don’t want to say that too loudly, Hunter may be listening.) How in the name of Pollyanna’s pigtails did we get people on a Secret Service detail that couldn’t holster a sidearm!?! I know that this is all something we've heard before but WHAT? Ok, I got it out. This is the best and brightest. Our A-team? It’s like they filled the team with Murdocks, and if you don’t get the reference, I feel sorry for you, 80’s tv ruled! How many shots were they going to let them get off? (Yes, I meant to pluralize that.) All of these add up to the United States looking like the Keystone Cops of the free world. We couldn’t look inepter (yes, a real word) if we tried, which this is worse because they were so inept that no effort was required. Ze-ro. Which brings me to my point which is going to be unpopular, we have to forgive them.

    Yes, as difficult as this is going to sound, and how difficult it is for me to write, the thing we have to do moving forward is forgive. Now, to clarify, forgiveness is not condoning or bypassing justice and overlooking what has happened but put on our big boy and big girl pants and forgive. Why would I want to do that Aaron, they are poopoo heads! That may be so random reader, but the burden is on us to forgive. Let me explain, hypothetically speaking, let’s say an administration ruined our energy independence, facilitated record inflation, raised gas and food prices, DEI and Trans-ed us to death, threw us headfirst into a recession, opened up the floodgates at the Southern Border allowing every criminal element to enter into the country and portrayed the United States as the gimp from Pulp Fiction to the rest of the world... There is more but I’m running out of energy (like America under Biden), this is a start though right. Do you think they are going to apologize for what they did to us? No. Why? Because they don’t think they did anything wrong. It’s scary and sad all at the same time. Now they aren’t sorry, but what hurts worse is we know they aren’t sorry. What that does is build resentment toward everyone, not just Democrats but other Republicans. Bitterness and resentment are not a smart bomb, they’re like napalm. Scorched earth. I bring this up because of the Senate hearings. Replay Pete Hegseth’s confirmation. Dripping with disdain. I want you to look at the Democrats ask questions, now remember that this could be the Republicans in just four short years. I look at Democrats and see a party full of resentful old curmudgeons.

    I don’t want to be that. The reason why we have to let it go is because we carry around our burden and theirs. They don’t really care what they’ve done to the country, like a classic narcissist they have no empathy. We forgive them, not so they get away with it, but that they are held accountable without a tinge of bitterness from us. That burden of pain is enough to carry but if we don’t let it go, we carry our pain and theirs. So, as unpopular as this sentence is, I forgive you Joe Biden, for being the worst president in American history.
