When I watch purple haired morons protest the capture of Maduro, while they call Trump a fascist and a wannabe king is confusing. They really don’t know what oppression is. Waiting in lines for food that wasn’t there, people who spoke against Maduro were arrested or killed. When that tactic didn’t achieve the desired effect, Maduro began imprisoning people’s children, simply to silence them. The radical Left gets paid to protest wherever they want, they aren’t silenced or jailed. The fact they can protest whatever, and whenever, without the threat of incarceration proves the absence of fascism. The only group proving fascism is the Left, why? They have gone and will continue to go to great lengths to silence anyone with a different opinion. They use hyperbolic language like fascist, racist, misogynist, transphobe, homophobe… the list goes on, but what has stopped is people on the Right, running from these hollow labels the Left uses. They have nothing to base an argument on, and no principles to stand on. Many of the terms they overuse so haphazardly have lost their meaning. (I apologize for the brief sidetrack; ADHD doesn’t stop because you’re an adult.) Which brings me to the country of Venezuela, a mineral rich nation constantly courted by Iran, Russia, and China before Maduro’s capture.
The Left wants to complain about Trump taking Maduro and that Trump captured Maduro solely to take their oil. I can be honest, (try it sometime Democrats, it really is liberating, pun intended) and say that the oil was a big part. Why we want the oil is not for the reason you think. The U.S. is striving for energy independence, so we don’t really need Venezuela’s oil, but we did need to take it.
In 2024 China loaned Venezuela $106 billion dollars. No small amount, and those funds were securitized by, you guessed it, oil. One of the tankers that the U.S. seized was valued at $500 million, almost the same amount of cash linked to Somali fraud found by TSA in the Minneapolis airport. Let that sink in a second… Why is the tanker significant? The U.S. seized what securitized the loan with China. Maduro had a cozy relationship with China, because China is not energy independent. China imported 490 million metric tons of coal from Australia in 2024. They need energy, and they can’t sustain it on their own, so they make deals with struggling nations for their oil or minerals in exchange for currency, manpower, or infrastructure. Maduro made a deal with China, but it is important to differentiate Maduro from the Venezuelan people, their interests are mutually exclusive. Maduro wanted power on the global stage and the Venezuelan people wanted to eat and work, very different goals.
The reason that this is a chess move is because China imports so many resources across the globe to keep the country moving. China has some of the resources it needs, but they would rather make strategic partnerships with developing and vulnerable nations, then rape someone else’s land for resources. While the Left is complaining about what Trump did, he effectively liberated a nation from a maniacal dictator, who literally taunted us to take him. Then he kept valuable resources from China, kept China from setting up a base in Venezuela, all while showing other nations that we are still the powerhouse in the West, without starting Word War 3! That is amazing for a 3-hour operation with zero American casualties.
As far as political moves go, mwah! Chef’s kiss! Really! Whatever Trump does absolutely infuriates the Left. Many immigrants in the U.S. love removing Maduro and the Left HATES IT! TDS is real. It’s not like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster, you can witness it firsthand, daily. None of the Left’s arguments stand on principles or substance, that’s why their protests are always temporary and without significant change. No righteous anger, only tantrums and violence. They are forced to defend what is abhorrent in society because they cannot typically think for themselves. Only what they are told by others, so they don’t have to do any thinking for themselves. Just a few examples, Hamas killing its own people. Where was the outrage? Iran killing its own people. Again, where is the outrage? You can’t complain about a group that you support truly oppressing its people? The hypocrisy runs deep. What about the big one, I shutter to say it out loud, but here goes, climate change. When was the last time you heard AOC comment on climate change being the biggest threat in our lifetime. Saint Greta has stopped focusing on it and focused on supporting Hamas. It makes sense though, each cause is interchangeable with the same tactics from terrorist and domestic terrorist groups. That’s why I’m infinitely grateful that we have DJT playing chess and didn’t get that head of cabbage playing checkers.
