Tonight he’ll be talking about the motivation for his new book, Did Thomas Jefferson Really Father Sally Hemings’ Black Children (Edgar Mellen Press, 2021). We will springboard into a vigorous discussion of the public acceptance of false or politicized history.
In two weeks on July 9, Dr. Holowchak will be back to talk about his companion book, Thomas Jefferson, Politically Corrected: My Travails as a Jeffersonian Scholar in Today’s Culture of Cancellation (Edgar Mellen, 2021). He promises to segue his travails into the indispensability of critical & open discussion for a thriving Republic.
We then will follow up on John from Ct's comments from last week on the numerous ills of Leftist political manipulations and discuss "Jeffersonian" Republicanism —for example, decentralized government, states’ rights, and the right to secede--as a possible remedy for today’s numerous ills! Is it too late to “Make America Great Again,” or is it dying?
