Protectionism (a global ban or tariff on an entire industry or product like steel) historically DOES NOT WORK and has incredibly negative unintended consequences which trickles down to everyone... using tariffs against specific countries to negotiate tariff barriers down is one thing but this is an extremely different other thing... Neocon economics is foolish, dangerous & the government picking winners & losers or American exporters over American importers is not freedom... "You can threaten or negotiate with economic nuclear weapons-- but you can never actually use them." Sorry folks!
